Expert Determination
We were recently appointed as the independent accountant to make a binding determination concerning a dispute between a vendor and purchaser of a gaming machine manufacturing business concerning the issue of stock obsolescence (the parties were $9 million apart).

Trading whilst insolvent
Provision of an opinion as to whether directors had a defence to a claim of trading whilst insolvent.

Financial Investigation
Enquiry to ascertain the true earnings of a business compared to the reported earnings in Vendor's Form 19 Statement.

Compulsory Acquisition
Reports into loss of profits, relocation costs, value of business in respect to Melbourne City Link Project and various Freeway extensions.

Matrimonial
We conducted a financial investigation into one of Australia's major matrimonial disputes.  We also recently conducted a review of another party's valuation whereby our client was able to obtain a much increased settlement due to us being able to substantiate a higher valuation of the business.
